How can I get help using the AKTC LMS?

Does the AKTC LMS provide online registration and payment for the training events listed on the site?

Yes, you can register and pay online for trainings offered by AKTC and our partners. Other trainings advertised in our catalog use outside registration. Details will be found in the Registration Details section of the individual training page.

How can members track their trainings and CE credits?

The AKTC LMS features an e-Portfolio available to all members which tracks completed trainings and self-reported trainings. When logged in, the e-Portfolio function is available through the Account menu.

I have forgotten my username and/or password. How can I recover this information?

I forgot my password. Type your username or email address. An email will be sent to you with your username and a link to the password reset process. If you are still unable to login please contact support@aktclms.org.

Who can submit a training?

Any organization or facility that conducts trainings or continuing education for direct support professionals, supervisors and professionals in the field engaged with Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority beneficiaries* may submit them to the catalog.

* Beneficiary groups include: behavioral health / mental illness, developmental disabilities, chronic alcoholism and other substance related disorders, aging / Alzheimers and other dementia, and traumatic brain injuries.

How do I submit a training?

Log-in to your AKTC LMS account and, click Submit a Training at the top of the page or from the menu on your Account page. Trainings will be reviewed and approved by AKTC LMS Staff before appearing in the catalog.

How can I print a list of trainings or details of a specific training event?

All pages are available in printer-friendly versions. Simply print from your browser.

Does it cost anything to be a member of the site or post a training?

There is no cost to join the site. Anyone can currently post trainings to the catalog at no charge. If you wish to use the system to manage your event (registrations, payments, attendance tracking) please contact the support@aktclms.org to discuss the fees to use the higher level functions of the site.

Does the AKTC LMS certify the CE/CME credits?

The AKTC LMS does not certify or verify any CE/CME credits. It is the responsibility of the CE Provider to obtain the appropriate approvals for their trainings and the participant to verify their acceptance with their licensing board. The Alaska AHEC does on occasion provide or co-provide trainings and will apply for credits when appropriate for these events. You may contact them at uaa_ahec@uaa.alaska.edu if you need assistance with CE credits for your event.
