Description

This is the time of year for Alaska Native storytelling, which has long taught and passed on their 10,000+ years of evidence based practice through the generations. Stories teach beliefs and practices that support wellness, healing and survival of life’s challenges, while often informing contemporary science.

This training will be presented as an interactive videoconference using Zoom software, which must be downloaded if you are a first-time user. The link to join the Zoom meeting will be emailed two days prior to the training date. Please watch for this email. You should, however, be testing Zoom on your computer prior to that time. Payment must be processed before access to the training is available.

If you need a community site to attend the training, please include the name of your community during registration and every effort will be made to arrange a community location. Two weeks notice is needed for these arrangements. Please note that Zoom can be used on a PC or Mac, laptop, IPad, or tablet and requires an Internet connection, a microphone and a camera. A camera is required to verify attendance.

To confirm your attendance and receive credit for taking the class please identify yourself using your first name and first initial of your last name as they appear in your LMS Profile. You must be logged on and prepared with a camera and microphone (or a headset) prior to the start of class.

Please download the Zoom software and plan to log into the webinar 10-15 minutes before the training start time.

Your evaluation is due when the training is completed. There will be an additional fee of $15.00 due for CE Certificate if your registration fee or training Evaluation is not received within 30 calendar days after the training event.
