Can cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) be helpful to people with static encephalopathy and other cognitive impairments characterizing FASD? This training will provide a critical assessment of key considerations service providers should attend to in a best practice service environment. Attention will be given to both cognitive aspects of FASD that may be amenable to CBT, and those features that may constitute barriers to successful treatment with a CBT approach.
