Customized Employment recognizes Self-Employment as an acceptable work goal for people with disabilities who want to work, but want to define their own jobs as opposed to working for someone else. In this two-hour class, the basic elements and requirements for Self-Employment are introduced and discussed.
Webinar Information: This training will be delivered as a webinar using Zoom. Webinar connection information will be emailed to you prior to the start of the training.
Zoom can be used on a PC or Mac, laptop, IPad, tablet or smartphone and requires an Internet connection, a microphone and preferably a camera (most devices have a built-in mic and camera). If you don't have access to these devices you may connect by phone to hear and respond to the webinar.
To confirm your attendance and receive credit for taking the class you must be prepared to identify yourself and participate as requested during the training. You must be logged on and prepared with a camera and microphone (or a headset) prior to the start of class. You may connect by phone if necessary but must be able to participate verbally when requested.
