Adults with IDD have questions about sexual health. Often times direct support professionals (DSPs) are asked questions related to sexual health and relationships. However, many DSPs feel they do not have enough training and/or education on sexual health and relationships to adequately respond or address the concerns of those they support. This training will explore healthy relationships and sexual health for adults with IDD and give DSPs tips and tools to help support those they work with.
We are asking people in the Anchorage area to attend in person or contact Julie Atkinson at firstname.lastname@example.org or (907-947-4399) if they need to attend via web. We have limited seating both in-person and online, please register early.
Online participants are required to have a camera and turn it on to fully participate in the training.
