Culture influences approaches to disability, including their understanding of a disability and its etiology, whether to seek support and access resources and moderate relationships with health and other service providers. This training will explore cultural perspectives on disability through a family panel presentation, an interdisciplinary case study discussion, and an exploration of strategies for navigating cultural differences in disability service delivery.

Connecting to the Training. Registered participants will receive the Zoom Meeting link to their email associated with this registration the week of the event.

Requirements. This training will be delivered as using Zoom. You must prepare for the session prior to the day of the training - do not wait until the morning of the training to prepare.

To confirm your attendance and receive credit for completing the training you must be prepared to identify yourself and participate as requested during the session. You must be logged on and prepared with a camera and microphone (or a headset) prior to the start of class.
