Description

A free, 90-minute workshop, "Make Room for Baby: Perinatal CPP to Repair Trauma and Promote Attachment" facilitated by Alicia F. Lieberman, Ph.D., provides an overview of and an introduction to the conceptual framework and clinical implementation of Perinatal Child-Parent Psychotherapy, a trauma-informed, relationship-based treatment for expecting mothers and fathers with histories of trauma and adversity whose readiness to nurture a baby is compromised by traumatic stress and adverse life circumstances.



The Alaska Association of Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health (AK-AIMH) has listed this training for the benefit of Alaska's professionals as part of our three-year initiative Project Compass: Leading the Way to Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Workforce Development. Project Compass is funded by AK-AIMH members and donors, the Alaska Children's Trust, and the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority.
