Description

This presentation focuses on best practices and curriculum components that will support the development of Black SUD counselors in educational, vocational, and internship-based programs. The goal of incorporating research on unconscious biases and culturally relevant theory is to fill the gaps in treatment for Black substance users and better address the health disparities within the community.
