This three-part course will address the adverse effects of substance use disorders on parenting and offer examples of how to support the caregiver-child relationship. It is hoped that this training series will provide an opportunity to bring practitioners from infant mental health and substance abuse together to improve services for families.

This event is organized by AK-AIMH's new initiative, Project Compass: Leading the Way in Infant & Early Childhood Workforce Development in Alaska. Funding for this project is provided by the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority, the Alaska Children's Trust, and by AK-AIMH members and donors.
