Description

This series will be followed by a Housing Summit where agencies can explore topics in greater depth and obtain technical assistance on next steps to provide supportive housing. Individual training sessions will be recorded and available at a later time.

Session Two: Introduction to Supportive Housing Services - What are the supports in supportive housing? How is service delivery different for supportive housing? Find out how this model fits into the continuum of care from independent living to mental health residential services to assisted living. Join local service providers who will discuss their successes and challenges providing services in a supportive housing program. Learn about Medicaid and grant resources to fund this work.

Please join us to learn how Alaskans and many non-profits nationally are creating the solution for homelessness - supportive housing!
