This is the third in a series of four introductory training on Supportive Housing. This series will be followed by a Housing Summit where agencies can explore topics in greater depth and obtain technical assistance on next steps to provide supportive housing. Individual training sessions will be recorded and available at a later time.
Session Three: Capital Funding for Supportive Housing - It is unlikely that a turnkey building will be available to meet the unique needs of supportive housing - so funding will need to be raised for building or remodeling. This session will review what an agency should consider when building or remodeling for the purpose of providing supportive housing and how to gather the information needed to obtain funding. Alaska Housing Finance Corporation will discuss the basic components of capital funding, what development and grant resources are available, and highlight recent projects as examples.
Pre-registration is Required. Registration closes January 10, 2022.
Zoom Connection. Information will be available in the confirmation email received after completing your registration. In addition, please watch for a reminder email to the training.
