Curious to learn more about Child Exploitation and Trafficking? Join us for our two-part series and take a closer look at the impact on both victim and consumer and how healing is available for everyone involved.

Parents, Mental Health Professionals, Clergy, or anyone who wants to be part of the solution to ending child exploitation and trafficking. Continuing Education credits available.

Workshop Description:

The Child Exploitation and Trafficking Two-Part Workshop Series is designed in such a way that participants who attend the series are able to gain insights and tools that help themselves and others:

Child Exploitation and Trafficking: A Look at the Problem (Part One)

o Understand the devastating impact of human trafficking in the United States and Alaska
o Explore the impact of pornography on our sexualized culture and the sex trade
o Examine common child lures and how they’re used by traffickers and consumers
o Discuss the role that shame plays in the lives of both victims and consumers

Child Exploitation and Trafficking: A Look at the Solution (Part Two)

o Expand awareness of the growing trend and increasing victimization
o Explore how relational brokenness impacts both victim and consumer
o Discuss consumer demand and effective methods on reduction
o Learn how to prevent victimization and support those in recovery
