Training Overview Description

In this class we explore some of the legal issues faced by those who are caring for someone with dementia. Some of the questions to be covered include:

When to get a lawyer and what kind of lawyer is best? What is the difference between power of attorney and guardianship and when is it important to consider either? What do you need to deal with end of life questions? What should you to do if abuse is suspected? How should you handle property and financial concerns?
