Training Overview Description

Dementia causes the person diagnosed to shift their perception of the world. Often with the loss of memory and language we are less able to identify wants or needs and caregiving can become difficult.
´╗┐Communication begins to take different forms. At times that might include expression through challenging behaviors such as yelling, acting out, or withdrawing. There is a reason! Learn how to rethink behaviors as forms of communication while strategizing appropriate responses.
