Training Overview Description

Lydia X. Z. Brown is a disability justice advocate, organizer, attorney, educator, and writer whose work has largely focused on violence against multiply-marginalized disabled people, especially institutionalization, incarceration, and policing.
In this webinar, participants will:

  • Learn basic terminology and concepts around queer and trans identities,
  • Develop better understanding of specific concerns and challenges facing
    developmentally disabled people under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella, and
  • Become better equipped to provide affirming support and advocacy alongside us.
