Training Overview Description

Conference Cancellation

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and at the direction and advisement from the CDC and our state and local officials, we are sad to announce the cancellation of the 19th annual Full Lives Conference, scheduled for April 22 - 24.

We feel it is important to implement these preventative measures and continue to act in the best interest of public health and safety.

We regret the logistical inconveniences that may arise as a result of this decision and sincerely regret the disruption. All registered participants and exhibitors for the conference will automatically be withdrawn and any payments made will then be refunded. There is no need to contact the LMS Training Support team to ensure your refund is started.

Refunds

All payments will be refunded. Receipts will be sent to the address associated with your credit card. Please be patient as we process refunds.

Lodging & Travel

You are responsible for cancelling your hotel and any travel arrangements you have made to attend the conference.

The Alaska Training Cooperative in collaboration with the State of Alaska Senior & Disability Services, UAA Center for Human Development, and the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority is pleased to present the 2020 Full Lives Conference. Our theme for this year is Power in Our Voice. Keynote presentations and breakout sessions focus on the efforts and trends within the industry to highlight the important role advocacy and self-advocacy play with those we support.

Who Attends. Full Lives draws a wide range of attendees that provide services in developmental disabilities, behavioral health, traumatic brain injuries, substance-related disorders, and senior services. Attendees include case managers, personal care assistants, care coordinators, community advocates, supervisors, administrators, self-advocates, caregivers, and families receiving services.

The Full Lives Conference receives funding and support from the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority, UAA Center for Human Development, The Alaska Training Cooperative, and the State of Alaska Senior and Disability Services.

Important notes:

  • Exhibitor registration fee includes one 6 ft. skirted table with two chairs and two conference registrations to host the table and participate in the conference.
  • Parking is NOT included in the registration fee, so please plan accordingly
  • If exhibitors would like electricity, there will be an additional $7 fee.

Registration Information

When completing your registration, please included the names, titles and email addresses for the two registration name badges that will accompany this exhibitor table registration.

Check-in/Registration and Set-up: The Conference is located in the Discovery Ballroom at the Hotel Captain Cook. Exhibitors may set-up their tables between 6:00 - 7:00pm on Tuesday evening April 21 or starting at 7:00am on Wednesday, April 22. Our posted check-in time for participants is 7:30am, and our first session will start at 8:00am.

Please come to the main check-in tables just outside the Discovery Ballroom to pick up your name badges. There will be printed table tents on designated and assigned exhibitor tables around the perimeter of the ballroom.

Please check in each day at the registration table outside the ballroom.
