This training will define complex trauma and explore its effects on young children, including regulation capacities. Through case studies and examples, we will explore how trauma may impact behavior, gain insight into regulation challenges experienced by young children, and develop an understanding of developmental considerations in regulation work with preschoolers. Participants will learn techniques and application strategies to use when intervening and assisting young children in achieving regulation.
