Correctional Counseling, Inc. presents certified, evidence-based training, MRT-Moral Reconation Therapy® Training.

MRT-Moral Reconation Therapy® Training

  • A 32-hour practical, hands-on workshop that will cover everything you need to know to successfully implement the MRT treatment system including information about understanding and treating the antisocial substance abuser.
  • The cognitive-behavioral method of Moral Reconation Therapy is reviewed. Attendees also participate in the program’s structured cognitive-behavioral exercises.
  • All participants will receive a certificate of attendance/completion and CEUs will be available from Louisiana State University at Shreveport. A separate form and fee are required for these CEU certificates.

During this training, each person will receive a copy of the following:
How to Escape Your Prison (the MRT workbook) by Dr. Gregory Little & Dr. Ken Robinson, the MRT Facilitator’s Guide, Antisocial Personality Disorder and Criminal Justice: Evidence Based Practices, Effective Counseling Approaches, reprints of 10 journal articles on outcome data on MRT programs and two CD’s – 5-Minute Stress Manager and Imaginary Future.

Topics in This Workshop Include:

  • Introduction to Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment,
  • Understanding Antisocial Personality Disorder,
  • Treating APD and Treatment-Resistant Clients,
  • Background of MRT Personality Theory,
  • Systematic Treatment Approaches,
  • MRT Steps 1-16,
  • How to Implement MRT

No refunds allowed for training registrations within 60 days of training date. Your CCI Account Manager will assist with rescheduling any training registration. Monies paid for training may be credited toward materials purchases. Please note that a $50 processing fee will be assessed on account for cancellation 10 days or less before training. Note that some training dates have limited availability of open slots. CCI reserves the right to cancel training dates if insufficient participants have enrolled.
