Much of this film was shot in Alaska and was made possible with the support of the Alaska community!

Event-specific Details

Often set against the backdrop of the headline moments of the last century, this documentary is queer history from the perspective of queer people. Rare and intimate, this collection of home videos will take you into the personal and human moments of everyday queer people throughout the last century.

Following the screening there will be a live Q&A with the filmmaker and Phyllis Rhodes, Member of the SAGE Steering Committee and Madeline G. Holdorf, AARP Alaska State President.

This screening is co-presented by SAGE Alaska & UAA Center for Human Development's Alaska Training Cooperative.

During the event we will be giving a sneak preview of our upcoming film, All The Lonely People. This film examines the growing epidemic of isolation and loneliness. Much of this film was shot in Alaska and was made possible with the support of the Alaska community!
