Please join us for an exciting Health Promotion webinar! We’ll talk about great ways to stay healthy and hydrated, have balanced meals, and keep active at home during the holidays and winter months! This webinar is open to Special Olympics Alaska Athletes and individuals with intellectual disabilities state wide, and caregivers, family members and volunteers are also encouraged to attend.
The Healthy Communities program is dedicated to providing health services and education to Special Olympics athletes, their families, friends, volunteers, coaches and the Alaskan community at large. Varying from specific health screenings provided by health care professionals, to health education classes directed toward athletes and the family/service providers, Special Olympics Alaska offers health education through sports training and competition as well as through its Special Olympics Alaska Sports, Health and Wellness Center.
