Training Overview Description
For individuals who have had prior MI training and want to hone their skills... We will jump right into the deeper use of spirit and OARS strategies to identify and evoke change talk.… Smaller group format to allow for multiple guided practice opportunities.
Event-specific Details
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss current use of MI and understand common roadblocks.
- Deepen OARS skills through small group practice and use of basic coding.
- Transition from listening for change talk to actively promoting change talk.
Curriculum pace and flow is intentionally designed to maximize engagement and interaction in a virtual environment.
One participant per registration, participation via webcam with audio is required. A certificate of completion is available upon request.
The National Council does not offer continuing education credits (CEC) or certificates of attendance for webinars.
