This course is designed to emphasize the principles of effective care coordination. Pediatric service delivery topics will include supported decision making, patient and person-centered care, behavioral health topics in Alaskan populations, best practices in optimizing quality care for individuals and family systems with developmental disabilities, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, and traumatic brain injury and other neurodevelopmental conditions. This course will present culturally sensitive, community-based services and practice to guide the role of care coordinators.

This training will consist of 16 hours of live engagement and learning. Note this is a 4-day training commitment.
Trainer: Jeanne Gerhardt-Cyrus has a long history of serving and training the workforce having served on the Governor's Council on Disabilities and Special Education with years of experience as a care coordinator.
Who this course is designed for: Navigators, Care Coordinators & Other Allied Health providers.
This course will be offered through Zoom, please test your computer before the first day of class. A working computer with speakers/microphone or headset (preferred), and a working webcam are required for participation in this class.
