This course focuses on the importance of language and words we use with clients and colleagues to create an accepting and compassionate treatment experience. Participants will recognize characteristics of a program-driven ("old method") versus an individualized treatment plan ("new methods"). Participants will gain understanding about how to formulate treatment plans and how to develop: goals based on client needs, objectives based on goals, and interventions based on objectives.
