Training Overview Description
NOTE: this course is advanced training and does not teach CBT or MI fundamentals
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing (MI) are two very different ways of approaching problems addressed in clinical settings. However, CBT and MI can complement each other when working with people with a wide variety of behaviorally oriented challenges. This training is intended to help participants identify and practice ways of combining the two treatment strategies.
