Training Overview Description

Prerequisite Community Reinforcement Approach (2-day course)

This course will focus only on the adaptations for utilizing CRA with adolescents. The course will focus on the relationship of four key adolescent CRA procedures: (1) care-giver only sessions; (2) the relationship happiness scale, (3) the communication skills, and (4) caregiver with adolescent sessions. Participants will also review the procedures from the first two days and discuss how they may need to be adapted to different developmental stages.

This training could be applied to multiple areas of the Alaska Qualified Addictions Professional (QAP) certification.
