Training Overview Description

Our nation is experiencing a series of collective traumatic events and how we each manage this prolonged crisis period will determine its individual and collective long-term impact.

Event-specific Details

Join Elizabeth Guroff, MA, LCMFT, director of trauma-informed services at the National Council, for a virtual workshop on Trauma-informed, Resilience-oriented Crisis (TIROC) Leadership.

This workshop will support public health leaders in their own behavioral health and build capacity to enhance trauma-informed resiliency-oriented practices within their jurisdiction through this unprecedented public health crisis.

This workshop will be offered three times on a first-come, first-served basis. Select the time and date that is most convenient for your schedule.

Participants will be able to:

  • Identify the four components of the National Council’s Trauma-informed Resilience-oriented Leadership model.
  • Define moral injury and identify ways to mitigate injury in staff and create morally safe work environments.
  • Identify the importance of self-regulation and its connection with burnout.
  • Identify a continuous quality improvement strategy to enhance organizational post-traumatic growth to thrive post COIVD-19.
