Event-specific Details

Session One: Introduction to Supportive Housing Programs
Presented by the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH), this introduction session will provide a general overview and key elements of supportive housing programs being used nationwide and here in Alaska. CSH is a national, non-profit organization that advances solutions that use housing as a platform for services to improve the lives of the most vulnerable people, maximize public resources and build healthy communities.

This will also be an occasion to recognize and celebrate 10 years of operations of the first Housing First programs in the state: Anchorage's RurAL CAP Karluk Manor and Tanana Chiefs South Cushman Housing First programs in Fairbanks.

  • Pre-registration is Required. Registration closes November 8, 2021.

  • Zoom Connection. Information will be available in the confirmation email received after completing your registration. In addition, please watch for a reminder email to the training.

  • Post-training Survey. A survey link will be forwarded to all event participants who attend this training. Completing this survey will supply important information to The Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority and the United Way of Anchorage. This information will guide the creation of additional training for individuals, agencies, and private entities in providing these much-needed services throughout Alaska.
