Supportive Housing Training Series & Summit - This series of four trainings, from November to February, will provide introductory and technical information on providing services, managing general operations, and raising capital for supportive housing projects. Learn how your organization can provide supportive housing units in your community and hear from the Alaska-based experts.
This training series will culminate with a Supportive Housing Summit in March 2022. You are strongly encouraged to attend all four sessions or view all four session recordings prior to the Summit. (Please see registration links below.)
Session Three: Capital Funding for Supportive Housing - It is unlikely that a turnkey building will be available to meet the unique needs of supportive housing - so funding will need to be raised for building or remodeling. This session will review what an agency should consider when building or remodeling for the purpose of providing supportive housing and how to gather the information needed to obtain funding. Alaska Housing Finance Corporation will discuss the basic components of capital funding, what development and grant resources are available, and highlight recent projects as examples.
Pre-registration is Required. Registration closes January 10, 2022.
Zoom Connection. Information will be available in the confirmation email received after completing your registration. In addition, please watch for a reminder email to the training.
